On May 20, 1927, Charles Lindbergh successfully "set off" on his HISTORIC transatlantic solo flight from New York to Paris.
Since our collective return to action, Operation Angel Planes/Rhode island made its own transoceanic history, with charitable flights across both the Pacific and Atlantic oceans; covering, among other flights, most of the cost of flying fourteen (14) people, round-trip, from Christmas Island to the United States for a wide variety of life-saving cardiac surgeries and covering most of the cost of flying several very young children, round-trip, from the United States to Barcelona, Spain for experimental treatment for disorders that progressively have threatened their hearing, their immune systems, their mental capacity and their lives: and regrettably, we did lose one of our little 'critters' to the disease last spring.
Now, Operation Angel Planes/Rhode Island is asking for your help.
If you make a tax-deductible contribution of just $19.27 to Operation Angel Planes/Rhode Island, we promise you that we will stretch it and make it go a very long way towards allowing us to continue our mission of helping those children who need our financial support 'to get to those places' that just might make them well again. Yes, we are a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and your donation, whatever the amount, is tax deductible.
And admittedly, while $19.27 may not seem like a lot of money to many of us, donating that special amount of money, will allow Operation Angel Planes/Rhode Island to continue to fly children to those places that are their last best hope for any life at all.
Finally, please note that 100% of your donation will be used to pay for flights: none of your contribution goes towards any other expenses of any kind!
